Who You Are:

  • Experienced in Policy Development: You have 2-4 years of experience crafting, revising, or enforcing platform policies, ideally in trust & safety, legal, or compliance roles.

  • Research-Driven: You stay ahead of legislative changes, online safety issues, and emerging risks, transforming them into actionable insights.

  • Clear and Concise Communicator: You can translate complex legal, technical, or safety concepts into policies that internal teams and external stakeholders can easily understand.

What You Will Do:

  1. Develop and Maintain Policies:

    • Create and update community guidelines, safety protocols, and enforcement standards in alignment with legal, ethical, and platform needs.

  2. Research and Monitor Emerging Trends:

    • Track evolving online risks, regulatory developments (e.g., DSA, GDPR, COPPA), and industry best practices to identify when policies need updates.

  3. Collaborate Across Teams:

    • Work closely with product, legal, and moderation teams to ensure policy changes are understood, communicated, and enforceable.

  4. Provide Policy Training:

    • Train internal teams on policy updates and provide detailed documentation on policy intent and enforcement procedures.

  5. Policy Impact Assessments:

    • Assess the effectiveness of existing policies and propose improvements based on user behavior trends and safety outcomes.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 2-4 years of experience in policy writing, trust & safety, legal compliance, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of global content moderation standards, safety legislation, and digital rights.

  • Experience conducting research and translating it into actionable policy updates.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional communication skills, especially when articulating complex policies to diverse audiences.
