The Challenges You'll Tackle

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to architect and maintain our cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. You'll play a pivotal role in streamlining our deployment processes, optimizing system performance, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to support our rapidly evolving platform.

Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

  • CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines to facilitate rapid and reliable software releases.

  • Automation: Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform and Ansible.

  • Monitoring & Logging: Implement and manage monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and logging systems (e.g., ELK Stack) to ensure system health and performance.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to understand their needs and provide the necessary tools and environments for efficient development and deployment.

  • Security: Implement and uphold security best practices across all systems and deployments, including access controls and vulnerability assessments.

  • Performance Optimization: Continuously assess and optimize system performance, addressing bottlenecks and ensuring low-latency operations.

  • Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity.

  • On-Call Rotation: Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to ensure rapid incident response and support system uptime and reliability.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a DevOps or related role, with a proven track record of managing complex cloud infrastructures.

  • Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of GCP services, including Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, and BigQuery.

  • Automation Tools: Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, and configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.

  • Containerization: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.

  • Scripting Skills: Strong scripting abilities in languages like Python, Bash, or Go for automation tasks.

  • Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack.

  • Security Practices: Knowledge of security protocols and best practices in cloud environments.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Bonus Points

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Google Professional DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).

  • Media Streaming: Experience with real-time media streaming technologies and protocols.

  • AI/ML Integration: Exposure to integrating AI/ML solutions into DevOps workflows.
